8.14 - Podcast Review of Episode 14 of Crash Landing On You (CLOY)

Today, we’ll be discussing Episode 14 of Crash Landing On You, the hit K Drama on Netflix starring Hyun Bin as Ri Jyeong hyeok, Son Ye-jin as Yoon Se-ri, Seo Ji-hye as Seo Dan and Kim Jung-hyun as Gu Seung joon. We discuss:

  • The songs we featured during the recap: Like a Wild Flower and When That Day Comes by Nam Hye Seung and Park Sang Hee.

  • We learn from Captain Ri himself how, after his brother died, he decided he would never love again, laugh again, have fun again, play the piano again. But everything changed when Se-ri crash landed into his life.

    I'm going to try to make the soup. I make no promises though. The broth already had a tragic accident. (It seems to be a broth thing with me.)

    My refrigerator does not look remotely as neat as Seri's does. Did Captain Ri make the banchan too? He seems like a man of many talents. Did I miss the scene with him making noodles by hand or did I imagine that?

    Let us know how the soup goes, though I'm sorry to hear about your broth.

    That's a good question about the banchan. That's a lot of work, which is why I think a lot of people buy it. Like in Crash Course for Romance.

    I think Captain Ri makes the noodles in the earlier episode in North Korea, when he makes noodle soup for Se Ri, along with freshly brewed coffee.
